Uncle Bob

I married into the family a few years ago to Bob's nephew, Brandon. I've always so enjoyed going to Uncle Bob and Hannelore's and was very excited when they moved closer to us in FL! It seems like a simple statement, but I've been consistenly saying to Brandon before and after he passed, "I really like Uncle Bob." Simple but true. He reminded me of my dad in a lot of ways, and his presence always made me feel at home. He didn't say much, but in this quietness he carried a strength and kindness that would make anyone feel comfortable and cared for. I'm really sad I didn't get more time with him to build a deeper relationship, but am also really glad for the time I did to get to spend with him! He is already very missed.
