Born February 28, 1963, Vicki Ford passed away surrounded by family and friends on the morning of November 18, 2021 at her home in Leesburg, FL at the age of 58. After a 4-year battle with lung cancer, Vicki departed this world to rest eternally in Heaven, cancer-free.
Throughout her battle, Vicki’s resounding strength was led by her favorite verse, “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10). This scripture renewed her faith and prompted the birth of her earthly mission which was to pour out her love and attention on to her faith, family, friends while helping others. As everyone knows, she has never met a stranger that didn’t become a best friend. Vicki once said, “Hardship often prepares ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny… Be positive every day no matter what comes your way. And touch as many people as you can while on your journey. Try to be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.”
Vicki led an extraordinary life with her husband, Chris, of 33 years. Together, they showered each other with love, laughter and adventure, and made it their mission to help others. Her passion for life and remarkable spirit guided her to many destinations throughout the world, finding new friends, and hidden waterfalls wherever she traveled.
Vicki is survived by her husband, Christopher Ford, their children Dianna, Chase, and Ryan; daughter-in-laws Courtney and Alexandra; grandchildren Lleyton, Oakley, and Kennedy; father and mother, Bill and Mary Jackson, as well as her brothers and sister-in-laws, Jackey and Joy and Rickey and Cherry.
Vicki will be greatly missed, but forever in our hearts. She is a guiding light, a model for kindness, generosity, faith and love for all those she has met and touched.

Family and Friends,
I am writing to inform you that one of our family members who is attending the Celebration this upcoming Sunday has tested positive for Covid. We have decided to continue the Celebration as planned but will be taking extra precautions with seating arrangements, the food/dinner and socializing. Specifically, as a precaution for those who attend, the family has elected to sit separately from others. There can be no sloppy hugs and kisses… for now! 😉
If you plan to attend, please take careful consideration of your own health and well-being. If you choose not to attend, do not forget that the zoom link will be available to watch live. We appreciate your love and friendship so no matter what decision you make, whether to come attend, or attend virtually, know that we are grateful for you.
